Inside the wooden church
This picture was taken at the Folkmuseet in Byg Døy, Oslo, Norway. The image is a covered walkway running the perimeter of a large wooden church. The folkmuseet is mainly an outside experience: many antiquated buildings shipped from their original sites all over Norway and reconstructed in a woodland setting that you (the viewer) wanders through. It’s like a magical history forest. It had been raining all week except for this one morning when we visited the site. Brilliant sunshine! The light is all natural, as are the wood colours – couldn’t have been luckier.
